Materials

Our palm leaf plates and bowls are made from fallen areca palm leaves. No chemical, dyes or toxins are used. Each product is hand trimmed to ensure neat finish and tidy edges.

Care & Disposal Instructions

Palm leaf plates, bowls and platters are fit for use with microwave and oven for low heating. Although made for one time use, there is nothing stopping from re-using after dry food consumption.

To dispose our palm leaf tableware products, simply use garden composting bin or food waste bin. Our palm leaf plates will fully decompose in 6-8 weeks leaving behind nutrient rich compose.

These were beautiful and just perfect for our Mexican evening where we had a starter of 3 dips served with tortilla chips. The hollows were ideal for serving the 4 items and they looked really cool, especially as they were a natural product. I felt very confident in serving up with these impressive plates that our guests would be amazed at the ingenuity. Perfect in every way!

We used these thali style plates to serve Indian curry and rice/dal. Absolutely no issues, these have perfect depth to hold my food inside the compartments. The guests loved these plates and found them super sturdy. The best part is that we threw used plates in our garden compost bin. Although I placed an order via standard delivery, I received them the very next day in an electric DPD van. I couldn't have asked for a more sustainable online purchase!

Good value and the size was great for our needs. Quality, though, wasn't great, as the plates were bowed and had quite a course (ribbed) texture making it a little tricky to eat curry, rice and hot sides. That said, they were rigid enough to serve their purpose, plus the guests loved the unique approach!
