It has the perfect shape and depth to be used as a serving or display platter, whether it is salad, fruits, starters or canape items. It's great for catering, as the disposable trays are biodegradable and compostable, making cleanup a breeze. Made from 100% natural palm leaves, these serving platters are completely biodegradable and compostable.  These trays are an eco-friendly and stylish way to serve food, perfect for a party or catered event. They are safe for both hot and cold dishes, so you can enjoy all of your favorite meals while being kind to the environment.

Materials

Our palm leaf plates and bowls are made from fallen areca palm leaves. No chemical, dyes or toxins are used. Each product is hand trimmed to ensure neat finish and tidy edges.

Care & Disposal Instructions

Palm leaf plates, bowls and platters are fit for use with microwave and oven for low heating. Although made for one time use, there is nothing stopping from re-using after dry food consumption.

To dispose our palm leaf tableware products, simply use garden composting bin or food waste bin. Our palm leaf plates will fully decompose in 6-8 weeks leaving behind nutrient rich compose.

I ordered plates, forks and big platters for our wedding party. Both spouse and I are vegan, advocates of sustainability and style, anti-waste warriors. Upon my research, I discovered ecoleaf and I was totally hooked on their ethos and using fallen palm leaves to create sustainable and compostable crockery and cutlery with no nasty additives and plastic! The products are beautiful and sturdy (no leaks) and we loved them as our guests too, who share the same sensibilities; we are all nature and food lovers and we cannot fathom waste of any kind. I shall be using ecoleaf again, as I run a small vegan bakery and I need consumables. And I shall be recommending them to all my friends who run events and/ or markets and other happenings and parties. I used these for a party I was catering for and they wanted me to avoid plastic. They arrived within a day or two of me ordering them. I was really impressed with the size and the look of these. A couple had a few splinters at the edge which could be a potential hazard which I knocked a star off but otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. They were sturdy and held up well even with fairly wet ingredients. I would definitely use them again (though I wish the postage was a bit cheaper).

Bought the platters and plates for an outdoor 80th birthday party. Had lots of lovely comments especially regarding the platters which displayed the buffet beautifully but equally the plates were a hit as guests wandered around chatting knowing the plates were perfectly safe to do so.
